Inke’s 1st Shoot

I shot with Inke and Tamara at Fort V in Edegem today. I met Tamara last May at a model shoot with my photo club DIFO. I did not have the chance to work with her then. So when both girls asked me for a shoot, I could not refuse. It was great fun working with them at such an interesting location.

It was Inke’s 1st shoot ever. I loved working with her. She has a natural talent for modeling. I hope I can work with her as a fashion model again in the future.

Anderleus Revisited

I revisted the mine site in Anderleus with Katrien and Bart Henseler. And despite the weather, we had a superb shoot. I continued my fetish fashion/glamour project. I think that these old abandoned location are just the right place for these kind of shoots. I’m pleased with the results, but I’m not quite where I want to be. So, I will have to continue with this little project.

The album is right here. Thank you Bart for this super location. And a big “thank you” to Katrien for posing and a very fun day.

Shoot with Sofie at “La Vallee”

I discovered a lovely little valley in the Belgian Ardennes while geocaching with a friend a couple years back. I immediately knew this would be the perfect location for a bikini shoot. It took me some time, but I finally got around and did a shoot there today with Sofie.

photo

The location was just perfect. Sofie was impressed… and so was I! It was even better then I expected it to be. We had a great day. And I’m sure that I be going to that place again next year.

Here’s some more shots from today. Thank you Sofie for posing, and thank you Tomasz for being my assistant.

Shoot with Tine

Shot with Tine today. Just as last year, Luc got us in at that unique location full of concrete and machinery again. Thanks for the location Luc. And a big thank you to Tine for posing. I had a great day and a couple of nice photos.

Goin’ for Gold

DIFO, my photo club is gearing up for our annual exhibition in October. As last year, I will be showing 8 of my photos in October. Before going on display in October, every photo was rated by a group of photographers.

In my second year as a member of DIFO, I won 1st prize in the category Color Photo! I was flabbergasted. My photo came out on top of almost 100 other photos. Competition was though this year. My co-members have entered really good work in the competition and I was really surprised to win. I won with this photo of a Pelican, taken at the Olmense Zoo.

It’s been a very rough year for me. Winning this award means a lot to me. I hope it is the beginning of happier times.

DIFO Photoshoot

I had the day off last Tuesday. Used it to go out with my friends of DIFO. It has been a tradition for many years to go and visit some place to shoot some images on the 1st of May. There was about 10 of us. This year, we took a little trip to the coalmine of Waterschei: a perfect spot for an urban shoot or a model shoot.

I had a little trouble finding a model for this shoot. Be luckily Luc—on of the other DIFO members—came through for me and made sure I could shoot with Tanja. Busted my ankle (again!) during the shoot, but that didn’t keep me from having a lot of fun.

Here’s a couple more photos from the shoot.

Thanks Tanja for a fun day and a shoot with excellent results. And of course a big thank you to the other members of DIFO for makin’ me a better photographer.

Photographers’ Day Out

A bunch of photographers and models from photograaf.be and modellennet.be got together yesterday for a little party.

Ludwig and Joy invited us to their home for a photo shoot. I had helped them out on Thursday and Friday night to prepare them for this get-together. In return, they promised me, I could use their space to work on a little project I have in mind.

I won’t post photos from the project yet as I’m still working on it. However, I will share some photos from another shoot I did yesterday. Eef was kind enough to work with me on the “secret” project. And as we started talking, we came up with a few other things as well.

photo

A big thanks to Eef of course for posing. I sure hope we can get together some time in the near future for another shoot.

In the evening Bart Boodts threw us a little ‘80s party with him and Gerd Van den Broeck treating us to some of the best ‘80s and ‘90s hits. It was a lot of fun. Met some great new people. Thanks all you guys!

Long Time no Photos

Haven’t done a photo shoot in a very long time.

When Helene approached me and told me she had been a gymnast for a number of years, I gave it a go. I found a school with a gymnasium. Shooting gymnast pictures was a lot harder than expected. Light was certainly an issue. But still, I managed to get a few good photos.

I want to thank Helene for the shoot. It was more of an effort for her than for me. More of the shoot with Helene right here.

Web Design

I don’t feel like doing a lot right now. I have hardly any interest
in the world around me.

To keep my mind off of things, I’ll look at some photo websites from time to time. One of them gave me an idea for a new design for the DIFO website. I Worked on it in my free time all last week. I’m happy with the result, so are my colleagues at DIFO. It made me a bit happy.
