Back in January, I had Shannety and her friend Elinne over for a shoot. We started of that shoot with some portraits and stuff. But you know me: no shoot is complete without some latex. So halfway through the shoot Shannety and I shifted to a latex and vanilla outfit in a little more moody setting. At first, she wore a half cup semi-transparent latex bra from Elissa Poppy and stylish black vanilla pants.
Eventually, Shannety changed in to a full latex outfit and her friend Elinne joined her for a small series. Shannety’s wearing a skirt from William Wilde. As is Elinne. And Elinne is wearing a top from KinkyKex. Elinne is wearing high heels from Pleaser Shoes.

I put out a model call to test a new lighting setup and some ideas. Axelle replied with great enthusiasm that she would love to come and try on latex for the 1st time and be the talent for my test shoot.
After shooting 2 sets of a mix of latex and vanilla clothes–read about part 1 and part 2 of these shoots–I setup for my test shoot while Axelle dressed up in a 3 piece latex outfit. After about 15 minutes of trying, I was happy with the light setup and we continued to create these 2 cool images.
I helped both photos along by adding background elements in Photoshop.
It gives me great pleasure to announce a big overhaul of my website. The brand new look has been live for about a week now. And I’ve been working diligently to solve the last few issues since then.
I have maintained a website since the early 90’s of the 20th century. Originally with static HTML pages only. But I quickly adopted WordPress as the core of my site.
My site has been styled by the Enfold theme for WordPress since September 2013. An amazing theme: very versatile, stable, regular updates and good support. I absolutely love this theme and I will continue to keep my eye on it.
Driven by another web design project that I am helping to put together, I redesigned my own site based on the BlackSilver theme. My site now offers a new clean design, bigger pictures and a full screen slideshow with my favorite photos on the home page.
I hope you like it. Drop me a mail or leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Axelle and I shot a 2nd set mixing latex and vanilla clothing. I showed you results from the 1st set in this post back in April. These are results from that 2nd set. It is sorta sporty. Axelle is wearing her own coveralls over a white latex top from Blacklickorish. Just as with the other combo Axelle tried, this outfit would be great to take outside too. Something with like a skateboard maybe?
It seems like forever since I have done something with 2 colors as a backdrop. I did some cool things on shoots with Shana and Delphine in early 2019. After that there was a whole lot of nothing. When Kirsten told me she had a white latex dress and a red petticoat, I built a white/red set to shoot that outfit. We added a couple of elements from my collection–the red bow and high heels–to complete the outfit.
Late last year, I had another go at the famous #blacktapeproject. This time with Daria. Combining the #blacktapeproject with latex again, of course. After the little project Jolien and the 1st real try with Shannety, I think I am getting the hang of it. I promised myself to dive into the concept of #blacktapeproject. I took a few online classes with Joel Alvarez of Black Tape Project and I think I am ready for the next step. I’ll have a go at somewhat more elaborate projects as soon as possible. But for now, enjoy these pics Daria and I did together last year.
Blue is her color, but red suits Daria just fine too!
Both the blue set and the red set where shot with the same lighting setup. Changing the color of the color gels surely did change the mood of the photos. It did not change the mood of Daria though. She is always her most spontaneous happy joyful self in front of the lens. I love working with her!
Right at the end of the session, I tried out my new Omni Creative Filter System from Lensbaby for a few test shots. I love the effect. Kinda fun, kinda strange to see what a little pane of glass will do to your image. I think this will work miracles for on-location shoots.

Kirsten brought her own pink latex outfit to the shoot: a lovely lingerie set from Pandora Deluxe. And her own high heels too: Pleaser shoes! What else? So we turned the whole set pink. It made her tattoos stand out just great.
And what can I say? I am a sucker for ballet heels… We just had to shoot some pics with ballet heels.

Portraits and headshots is not something I do every day. But once in a while it is fun to do. Certainly when someone as lovely as Caroline come to me asking if I can do new headshots for her. She called me up and said she had a new hairdo. And then she asked if I would wanna do new headshots… Who am I to refuse, right?
I’m using the tips & tricks from Peter Hurley to do my headshots. My setup is not nearly as professional as Peter Hurley’s setup but it does the trick.
When we were done with headshots, we changed the mood a bit. Out went the bright formal background. I replaced it with something more moody while Caroline mixed up her outfit to match the mood. We combined her beautiful lace bodice with a latex skirt from Atsuko Kudo. After doing photo shoots with Jolien and Axelle combining latex and vanilla clothes, I am starting to really like that theme.
