I don’t shoot action sports very often. But today I went down to Geel to watch the European Cup Waterski. Shot a couple of decent photos there.
It is amazing how close those boats come to the edge. They get as close as a couple of meters to the concrete walls of the canal. And guess what… I sat in the splash zone and got really hosed.
I should have been at the Giants Stadium tonight when Bruce played Jersey Girl…

My friend and colleague Chris Bailleul invited me to tag along for a strobist shoot at a little lake. He needed someone to assist him with the lighting. Basically, he needed someone to stand in the water and hold the flash. That is what we call a “Voice Activated Lightstand” at Apertura. I agreed to help him if I got an action shot. So here we go…
Shot with Ellen at the beach today. Great fun! Right up until we had seek shelter from a thunderstorm.

Bring your best friends together for a photoshoot and a little bite to eat. And 3 days later, after you realize that all the Magnum Almonds are gone, your MSN looks like this.
I use MSN ’cause it’s a useful tool, but I don’t like it. But this… This just puts a very big smile on my face. Actually, I could stop laughing for 10 minutes.
Haven’t had a real model shoot in a little while. I had something special planned for today: a shoot with my favorite models and close friends. I have to admit… I was all nervous. I wanted this shoot to be nothing less than perfect, and a lot of fun.
And it all worked just great. The shoot was a lot of fun. But I made the girls suffer from time to time. They worked hard and in between all the laughs, they did some serious work. I am quite pleased with a couple of photo’s.
And by the time it is time to call it a day, the serious work turns in to silliness. I hate bein’ in front of the camera, but the girls dragged me out there… kickin’ and screamin’.
