Cisco CCNP Recertification

I am a Cisco certified engineer since the end of 2000; a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) to be exact. The certification is valid for 3 years. After 3 years one has to pass an exam to recertify.

I was supposed to recertify my Cisco CCNP certification before April 5th. I passed the exam today. Yippeeeeeeee! I’m really happy about this. The exams get tougher every time and I was not looking forward to cramming for the exam. Passing this test is a little speck of light in an otherwise pitch black night.

It took a lot of work, and I did not succeed at my first try. But I did succeed in the end. And that’s what counts. I can pride myself on being Cisco certified for the next 3 years.
