I met Romi and Shannety at a modeling contest back in 2012. We went on a photoshoot in Park Spoor Noord that year. Over the years, we kept in touch and worked together quite often. In 2017 it dawned on me that we were friends for 5 years and that it was 5 years since our 1st shoot together. Back then, we said we would do a city shoot in Antwerp every 5 years.
2022 marks the 10th anniversary of that 1st shoot. And that meant it was time for another shoot. In Zurenborg this time.
This year’s 10th anniversary shoot would not have been successful without the support of Elem. She did Romi’s and Shannety’s makeup. As she has done on so many of our shoots. She’s a great make up artist and I am glad she wants to work with me so often.

I had miss Axelle over for outfit fittings and a little test shoot during those dog days of summer… She came over somewhere in September. It was nice and warm that evening. Too hot to shoot in the studio. She rather spent time in the pool.
Remember my earlier post called Meet Me In The City? Well, Shannety and I shot another set that day. A little bit more my style, a little more edgy but still with the same class that only Shannety can bring. A bit of latex, a bit of vanilla clothes and a lot of fun… All we needed to make this series work.
Joke proved that you can combine latex with just about any other fabric. That black shiny latex top and the tight corset she wore of her jeans were just the perfect combo.
After she wiggled out of her jeans, the fun really started. Joke put on a pair of ballet heels and she continued the shoot as if she wears ballet heels daily.
Baywatch was one of the most popular television series in the 1990’s. The 1st 9 seasons were set on the beaches of Los Angeles County. For the last 2 seasons, they moved the set to Hawai’i. The iconic red bathing suits of the lifeguards turned to yellow suits. Just like the one Daria was wearing for this photo shoot.
I bought the outfit eons ago at an online charity event. The outfit was worn on the set of Baywatch Hawai’i by Brooke Burns who played the character of Jessie Owens. I’ve always wanted to do a photo shoot with it. So, here it goes…
Daria loooooooooves sparkles! She loves’em so much, she’ll grab any opportunity to wear something sparkly on our photoshoots. So, it was obvious that Daria wanted to wear these rhinestone cowboy boots when I showed them to her. I knew that I had a silver grey latex skirt that would work well with the boots. I went on a scavenger hunt for a white cowboy hat. And when I found it, I added rhinestones to the had too. Before you know it, we had an outfit that matches Daria’s beauty.
It had been a while since Joke visited my studio. Actually, it has been several years… Shame on me for not inviting her to the studio more often. We promised each other to not let that happen again.
Still, I was really cool to have her in the studio again. It was just as much fun as it had always been. After catching up on what’s been going on in our personal life over coffee, we dove into the studio. Joke was of course as beautiful and gracious as before. For her 1st set, she wore a white latex skater dress from William Wilde and over-knee ballet heels from Kassiopeya Shoes.
This 2 piece 80’s-style fitness outfit in latex from Blacklickorish is a favorite among my models. Many models like to squeeze in to this white top and the transparent body. So did model Axelle. It is the perfect outfit to flaunt her curves, for sure. And it turned out to be the perfect outfit to show off those new white high heeled boots from Pleaser Shoes I added to my collection.
And as always, Axelle and I looke for a new way to create a hairflip photo… We can not do a shoot without a hairflip. We’ve declared it to be our signature shot. And we do one on every shoot.

I hadn’t been shooting on location for a while. I desperately needed to break out of my studio. I need to break out of my studio a lot more often than I do. Shannety said she needed some new pictures for her fashion portfolio. That was the perfect opportunity for both of us to break out of my studio.
I had previously found a couple of spots in Antwerp where I wanted to shoot. We settled for a quiet location that gave us some background elements without be too distracting. We wanted Shannety to be the hero in the picture, not the city. Once we were done with the photos, we gave videos a try. It was my 1st real attempt at shooting video. I have a lot to learn still. But we got a few decent clips done that I could edit down to fun 15 second clips for Instagram stories. I have already shared some of them on my Instagram and they’re archived in my Models highlights.
