9/11 Memorial & Museum

Today was a beautiful sunny day, much like it was on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2001. The weather seemed appropriate for my planned to visit the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.

I had already been to the 9/11 Memorial 2 years ago, but not yet to the museum. And I had not seen the WTC site with the 1 World Trace Center building complete.

It was a very emotional day: especially the stories of the FDNY firefighters choked me up. Listening to the tape of the FDNY dispatch listing all the crews that rushed to the site and moments later hearing the sounds of numerous Man Down Alarms is hard to take.
